I conceived and directed Genetic Drift for Boca del Lupo’s Micro Performance Series. The piece introduces a world where global temperatures have risen, and so in response to impending extinction, society has spliced human DNA with other life forms in order to survive in extremely high temperatures. This show explores not only the ramifications of climate change, but also the ethics of science.

Genetic Drift was presented as a part of Boca del Lupo‘s Micro Performance Series at The Fishbowl on Granville Island. The design team was instrumental in the making of the piece.
